Philanthropy is an integral part of Alpha Gamma Delta. Alpha Gamma Delta’s international philanthropy is the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation whos campaign is to "Defeat Diabetes One Step at a Time". Rho chapter at Iowa State raises money for this charity organization through an annual Alpha Gam Pajama Breakfast, which is a late night breakfast held at the chapter house in the fall. And the first ever Alpha Gamma Delta Oodles of Noodles dinner which was held on March 3rd, 2010. The Women of Alpha Gamma Delta cherish health and feel that the education and support to those with Diabetes is important. All of the proceeds raised are donated to the Defeat Diabetes One Step at a Time campaign.
